# About Remedy

Remedy makes a back pain app for iPhone: a structured, video-guided back fitness program for people who want a plan instead of a pile of videos.

## What we make

Remedy: Back Pain Relief is a consumer iPhone app. You answer a short onboarding about your back, and it builds a 4 to 6 week program of short sessions, with a demonstration video for every exercise and a pain check-in before and after. It launched on the App Store on October 13, 2026.

## Why it exists

Most people with a sore back end up in one of two places: guessing with random videos they stop doing within a week, or paying for care they can’t keep up with. Exercise is one of the best-supported options for everyday back pain, but it only works if you keep doing it for weeks and it gets harder at the right pace. Remedy is built to be that middle path: a real plan in your pocket, one session at a time.

## How we write our guides

- Guides are general fitness information, not medical advice.

- Every factual claim about back pain links to its source: clinical guidelines such as NICE, the American College of Physicians, and the WHO, public health sites such as the NHS and MedlinePlus, and peer-reviewed research such as Cochrane reviews.

- Guides are written by the Remedy team. They are not written or reviewed by a clinician, and we say so rather than imply otherwise.

- Every guide includes the warning signs that mean you should see someone instead of using an app.

- When we compare Remedy with other options, we say that we make Remedy.

- We update guides when guidance changes. Each one shows when it was last updated. Spot a mistake? [Tell us](mailto:social@remedyrecoveries.com?subject=Guide%20correction).
